Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MS

Our MS switches are used exclusively for use with our MR access points and other devices that we do not want on our production network. We are beginning to look into using MS switches for other networks including production. All of our MS switches are connected to a Catalyst switch at some point upstream.

We have benefited from the ability to provision/configure a switch and have a level 1 tech physically deploy it. We have also replaced defective switches more easily, reducing downtime.
The GUI is straightforward and intuitive. This allows us configure switches consistently and quickly.
MS switches work well for our environment because we connect all our MR access points to it. When troubleshooting an access point, it makes it easy to cycle a port. We are still determining if it is feasible to use MS switches with 802.1x.
