Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MS

The MS 210 switches are a layer 2 stack between the SD-Wan Internet Edge and Branch switch stack.
  • Easy to configure specific VLANs
  • Easy to prune VLANs
  • Easy to monitor from a single pane of glass
  • Initial configuration in local link mode at first configuration needs to be able to flip ports from trunk (default) to access .
  • More port customization for AAA services.
  • More VRF usage

  • The out of the box feature set makes this MS switch great for layer 2 connection
  • The MS 210 needs more configuration available in local mode from startup out of the box.
  • The MS 210 has provided excellent ROI for the use case
The organization has benefited from deployment of MS 210 by reducing the number of man hours required to setup a switch in-between the SD-Wan edge and core switch stack.
The Meraki MS 210 switches have made connectivity between all of these product seamless and easy.

Cisco Meraki MS is very well suited to a centralized routing domain such as a school district where the entire network is located in one city and connected by fiber directly.
