Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Umbrella
We implemented Cisco Umbrella as a means to protect our environment from drive-by downloads, malware, and viruses in the wild. Since implementation, we have decreased our occurrences by approximately 70%. This system is so easy to implement and requires very little time on a daily basis and protects the environment before anything ever gets to the network.
- Reporting is precise and extensive.
- Effective in real-time filtering catches new outbreaks and threats block them very quickly.
- Integrates smoothly with a plethora of other Cisco products.
- Could improve the streamlined process to integrate with the network.
- It requires us to spin up 3 servers to implement in our network.
- Umbrella has decreased our incidents and occurrences of malware and spyware on our network.
We used Trend Micro InterScan Web Security Virtual Appliance prior to implementing Cisco Umbrella. It required more time to manage and had a steep learning curve and was very cumbersome to make exceptions.
