Overall Satisfaction with Clari

Clari is being used by the sales team and management. Teams use it oversee pipeline and follow up on open deals. This has allowed the sales staff to keep track of all current ops they are working on, and to keep next steps in place to effectively manage their pipe. Management also uses it oversee sales, and to get a big picture of sales activity to forecast for the quarter. Clari makes managing the team easier and faster.
  • Seeing all deals in once place - This lets us quickly edit and update deals with insights from a single page.
  • Reporting - The reports give a good overview of what's happening, insights on how things are going, and what deals we need to focus on
  • Forecasting - The trending reports and Clari's forecasting let us plan our month/quarter in the proper way to hit the numbers we need.
  • Sometimes the insights do not load and we encounter problems. The insights part is a good feature, so when it does not load often, it detracts a lot from the product's usefulness.
  • The flow area can be a bit confusing and hard to follow. Doesn't seem to be as good as other aspects.
  • Cost can be an issue - with SF licenses and Clari on top of that, the monthly cost per Clari user doubles.
  • Has made it easier to keep track of ops. Our company has many open ops that sit and get drawn out. This makes it easy to forget about things and not update. Clari has helped us keep things on track and follow up on more closings that would have been left out.
  • With a small sales team, the cost isn't much of an issue as the deals won from the tool means the ROI is there quickly. With large teams though, I could see that being an issue when compared to just Salesforce licenses
Not familiar with other products in the quote to close space. I have not used others, as Clari has been our first and we have been very pleased with it, so I have had no need to evaluate other competitors to it.
Good for companies who have long deal cycles with many touch points. Short cycles don't really benefit from the tool. A company also must have a role structure in place for things to work well from the Salesforce side of things. Otherwise, the pipeline per users gets a bit skewed.
