Overall Satisfaction with Cognism

We use Cognism for market research and lead generation, as well as backlink outreach for SEO. We use it to identify leads for both use cases, collect contact information like emails, phone numbers and LinkedIn profiles, compile lists, and write and schedule outreach emails and set follow ups, and A/B test subject lines and sequences.

Pros

Cons

  • The phone numbers don't always work
  • Sometimes data export can be a little tricky, requires a lot of clicks
  • UI can be a bit complicated sometimes
  • Cognism has allowed us to generate leads for the business
  • Helped us save hours of manual work in market research
Cognism's UI is modern and sleek. While some functions like setting up sequences required a few more clicks than I think is necessary, every other feature is intuitive and easy to use. Everything is easy to find and users are able to quickly navigate to where they need to go for different use cases like research, email creation and sequence building

Cognism is great for getting contact information for leads and automating cold outreach. You can use it to help SDRs and marketers save time on market research, prospecting and following up on cold outreach. Cognism is not suitable as email marketing software for marketing campaigns for nurture sequences/customer marketing/customer comms etc.
