Overall Satisfaction with Cognism

Both our Business development and sales teams are using Cognism every day. We have a list of companies we need to sell to, so we need to identify and then get in contact with key people of those companies. Cognism helps us to find the right people at each organisation, and then helps us to get into contact with them by providing their direct contact information, such as direct mobile and email.

Pros

  • Identifying key decision makers.
  • Providing direct contact information (mobiles, emails etc.)
  • Ease of use.
  • Diamond Verify function (Cognism will look for the mobile number if not available).
  • On-site training for our teams.

Cons

  • Because of all the possibilities and features, there's a slight learning curve.
  • The dashboard is quite detailed, need to get used to navigating.
  • Decreased time per sales stage.
  • Decreased prospect research.
  • Decreased account research.
  • Overall massively shortened our closing time.
Cognism does come with a learning curve, which makes sense because of all the functionalities it offers. In the beginning, it will take some time to get used to it. Also, for new employees, this counts. We had on onsite training provided by them, which was very helpful. Having a few experienced people in your team with Cognism already helps a lot. Once you know how to use it, it's very easy!
Lusha works great in some countries in terms of numbers, but Cognism globally has way better data quality. Besides that, the list building and integration are way better and more advanced with Cognism. We've worked with both tools for years in loads of different countries and compared results; Cognism was definitely the winner for us.

Cognism works great for startups, scale-ups and large enterprises. It helps us close deals faster because we can very easily find the right people who can move our deal forward fast, and reach them directly instead of having to go through an HQ number/gatekeeper. It also saves us hours and hours on research we'd otherwise have to do manually.
