Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense
Concur is used primarily for expense re-imbursement for business related charges and travel expenses. It is used company wide by all departments and is the single application used by all employees for both purposes. Concur is the only application used by the company for all expense re-imbursement and all travel costs.
- Expense report builder.
- Image scan of receipts.
- Better notification of expense acceptance and payment.
- Being able to scan directly from a photo of a receipt is a big time saver.
- The integration for importing expenses from a credit card is also a big plus.
- Abacus and by Emburse
I have not other real experience with any other expense re-imbursement software, but Abacus is in the same league as Concur and provides a similar online experience. Both are good applications for expense creation and submission. Our company has decided upon Concur due to their marketplace leadership, great online and mobile tools and for it's easy of use.
I am not aware of any specific integrations other than the mobile app available for Android and Apple, which gives the ability for receipt capture and picture upload into an existing expense report or the creation of a new expense report. I also enjoy the ability it offers to show the status of any submitted expenses and where they are at in the re-imbursement process.
Evolving because of an expense re-imbursement software is hard to pin down, but using tools that make my job easier and allow me to get my job done faster are always of benefit. Not having to worry about expenses or being mired down in exhaustive process to submit for expense re-imbursement is always a plus in my book.
Not having to worry about expenses or being mired down in exhaustive process to submit for expense re-imbursement has been a great help to me and those also in my organizational group. As an IT person having to work and deal with many different technologies to do my job having to learn another program for to be re-imbursed for expenses would just be a tedious exercise I don't need. Concur makes this process easy and something I don't ever have to worry about.
