Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight

We are using Conductor as our all-around SEO tool so we track our rankings, check in on our competition and develop content through the keyword research tool. As of now, the SEO team is the only one who utilizes the tool, but it has been extremely beneficial because we are able to see and find where we are lagging, what our improvements are, and gives us a clear direction on strategy. Our business problems are solved within a quick look at the Insight Stream. It's been completely invaluable.
  • Any person that works in SEO should know three things: where you're winning, where you have opportunities to rank better, and how your competitors rank. Conductor rolls up all of those aspects in a friendly user experience. It's especially helpful if you're in a time crunch and people want to know information quickly. Conductor knows these are things you need.
  • Implementation of the Search Console has been beneficial. This helps us to see how our rankings, versus our page consoles, work together. This is one of the reasons why Conductor sets itself apart. It does help us to see the information in a pared down manner in order to help us see our opportunities.
  • The diversification of Workspaces allows anyone to custom use the tool. Every business has a different goal and being able to identify the needs based on that goal helps you decide where you can find the opportunities to help you win. It only takes a few seconds to set one in.
  • I would like to see more in the area of backlinks and find out where the backlinks are coming from. This helps us to be able to disavow if we need to and identify the bad "endorsements".
  • Conductor has helped us increase our organic reach while widening the market share gap. The traffic increase has helped the SEO team increase their organic conversion goals in the third quarter and is already starting the new year off right.
While there is a lot of data, it is specific to the industry no matter what it is. Wading through the data to determine which best fits your strategy can sometimes be a difficult proposition, but the data is quality data. This in turns helps us set the right content strategy in place. Be patient with the amount of data shown to you and pare it down in your mind on what's important. They do not provide frivolous things as a flashy sales tool. It's all important.
We are able to relate back to our content team the driving keywords, mapped landing pages and theme so we can have the best possible content that helps fight against the competition. We used to go about content blindly, but now seeing a purpose behind that content has helped improve our content and rankings.
I am speaking for my entire team when I say our support has been tremendously incredible. We have an incredible experience onboarding and going to our managed services. They listed out a timeframe for onboarding and nailed it! Any communication in terms of questions or utilizing consulting hours, we have gotten quick and prompt responses from our team.

Meg, our lead, even follows up once in awhile to see how we are doing, if we need anything else and to remind us that we have other people to help us in certain situations. We have been very pleased with the service we have gotten from the beginning. You will be too.
I have evaluated BrightEdge, but the roll up of valuable information is more intuitive and literally in your face once you login. The user experience moves you from one section to the other and that really helps us make better use of the tool. Ease of use and quickness of information win the day.
If the senior manager is looking for some quick information before going into a meeting, Conductor is well suited to roll up that information very quickly. It's beneficial to group all of those needs in an easy-to-find place. The tools are also well suited to check on your competitors. Being able to see the keyword gap does wonders. Where Conductor is less appropriate is to determine which type of content is more appropriate for the audience you're trying to reach. That in and of itself is a catch-22.

Using Conductor Searchlight

The usability reaches all levels of SEO professionals. The InsightStream and Workspaces help you circumvent a lot of stuff and makes using the tool that much easier. If you had to teach a new person the tool, there wouldn't be a large learning curve because it's just that easy to work with.
