Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight

We are using Conductor as our SEO platform to do keyword and industry research, and plan and execute strategies. Our internal marketing team is the department that uses the platform, and we find it very intuitive and easy to use. It has helped us to see our strengths, some of our weaknesses, and has given us some low-hanging fruit that could help our company out the quickest.

Pros

  • Great customer service.
  • The on-boarding and training for using the platform is awesome. They are with you every step of the way.
  • They are always available for any question you might have.

Cons

  • The menu options change, which can cause a little confusion until you learn where everything is again.
  • We haven't been using Conductor for a full year yet, and so it is difficult to see the immediate impact on our ROI and organic traffic, because we are a seasonal company.
  • It has made our SEO strategies and efforts easier to organize.
The support is second to none. I was new to the SEO world, and they had great training, explaining how to use the tool and why everything is being tracked the way it is. And they are always available if new questions arise. They do a great job of seeing if there are any updates to our strategies or upcoming projects, and seeing how they can help.
It is a good tool to plan and strategize your SEO campaigns. The keyword tracking helps with getting fresh content and seeing how you are ranking over time.

Using Conductor Searchlight

For our business, the workspaces are a big help. Our strategy can be different for many aspects of our company, and the workspaces help us to organize the different strategies and highlights for each. The insights that Conductor offers are helpful snapshots for different areas of our website, like pages that are now getting/not getting organic traffic, ranking changes for keywords or URLs, moving to/from first page in the SERPs, etc.
