Overall Satisfaction with Conga Composer

Conga Document Generation can be a bit glitchy. We use it in salesforce for our quotes. It honestly seems like a better tool for the enterprise. We are very transactional. Hundreds of sales per month which isn't the best for Conga because of the time it takes to build out each quote.
  • Calculates accurate quotes.
  • Customers can somewhat easily sign the agreements.
  • It integrates with Salesforce pretty well.
  • It could be much faster for SMB teams.
  • It would be nice if there was more customization for organizations that have SMB, enterprise, mid-market instead of having it all used the same.
  • Their support team could be a little stronger/quicker to help.
  • It has made our data in Salesforce more accurate.
  • It has helped our customers truly understand their pricing and all of their discounts.
It's usually error-free, but sometimes can be a little glitchy. There's something weird that ends up happening when you go to submit a quote to send to a customer it oftentimes doesn't show the pricing unless you press edit lines> calculate> save (after pressing save the first time). I'm not sure if this is a Conga Document Generation issue or just an issue with how we set it up. It can be a bit of a pain in the butt.
Yes, we don't have to use spreadsheets anymore to track bookings and quotas. Having Conga Document Generation integrate with Salesforce is very nice. I just wish it was faster for each signup. It can take a while to load sometimes.

Do you think Conga Composer delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Conga Composer's feature set?

Yes

Did Conga Composer live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Conga Composer go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Conga Composer again?

Yes

I think it's definitely better suited for enterprise teams that are doing bigger more complex deals. With SMB we need the signup process to be extremely quick and simple since we do so many sales per month. It is pretty easy to use, but just not that quick.

Using Conga Composer

75 - Both our Legal and Sales Teams use Conga Composer. It's what we use to create quotes, send agreements, track signatures, track revenue in salesforce, sign customers up for many different products, etc. Our SalesForce Team also works in Conga to help us customize the different types of products and discounts we're able to sell and use.
6 - We have a few SalesForce Admins and a few people on our SalesOps Team who all support our use of Conga Composer.
  • Sending agreements
  • Reminders for signatures
  • Selling many different products
  • Tracking revenue in Salesforce (through the conga integration)
  • Email reminders
  • Integration with salesforce to track bookings
  • Better forecasting for future pipeline
  • Training our BDRs and other sales reps how to do the busy work in conga so the AEs don't need to spend tedious time doing it.
We most likely will renew conga because of it's strong salesforce integration and we're so engrained into it with all of our different brands and products/services. It would take a lot of time, money and resources to switch to something else.

Evaluating Conga Composer and Competitors

Yes - We used to use DocuSign
  • Scalability
  • Integration with Other Systems
Conga was better for our Enterprise and NonProfit Brands so our SMB team had to consolidate into it and get rid of DocuSign. Also Conga's integration with Salesforce seems stronger than what we had with DocuSign.
I wish we could find an easier to use product for high volume SMB sales teams. Conga is a bit clunky and slow.
