Overall Satisfaction with Control-M

BMC Control-M is used as a scheduler to run business-critical processes, send regulatory files to all regulators, run backups, housekeeping, and various other critical processes.

  • BMC Control-M is costly tool and hence organization need to pay lot for it.
It is a very stable tool and can be integrated with various ITSM tools. Way control-m is evolving itself in API and WEB is fantastic. You can job status through the mobile web and call API pragmatically through a job as a code. Stable, user-friendly, easy to use, and adaptive to integration makes it best.
Pictorial view and Stability are two things that make Control-M great. The configuration manager, which is best used to manage all the system parameters, is better than updating files(in HWA and AUTOSYS, we do). Site standards and WCM are two other revolutionary things BMC Control-M has.

Global conditions from Mainframe to Distributed environment. BIM (Batch Impact Manager) provides business-critical reports and delays. There is a graphic view of Jobs in Control-M Web and Control-M GUI Client. The API is graphical.
