Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand
CSOD is being used for the entire Placer County employee organization. We use it for our compliance training, ILT management, eLearning content library, and is the data system of record. The CSOD system has an API integration with our HR system, Workday. Additionally we have several large departments that use the system heavily to track very specific qualifications and certifications as well as provide training to our client base that is required by contracts held with the State of California.
- SSO ease of access for employees is awesome, in particular with a small team to manage it.
- Securities are great so that we can have Department Administrators be the super admin for their specific department training.
- We were able to brand it and make it look personalized to our County.
- Use of email administration to set up reminders and also notifications has alleviated a huge manual workload issue.
- Robust system and really required dedicated staff time to implement and launch. It would have been helpful to know this at the get go.

There were two other finalists in the RFP process. Saba was very close to being awarded the contract. CSOD won due to the Fed Ramp Certified.
