Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand

Synchrony uses Cornerstone across the whole organization. As a financial organization this provides compliance training to all employees as well as functional courses for specific roles, as well as being able to schedule and track leadership training

Pros

  • User experience.
  • Admin tools are quick and easy to use.
  • Platform works to promote learning strategies.

Cons

  • Finding some compatibility issues with IE that tech team is unable to explain or help with.
  • Exam functionality is not sophisticated.
  • Acknowledgement courses have too many steps for users - could be streamlined.
  • Maintain compliance regulations.
  • Increase reskilling for employees.
  • Interest employees in professional development.
We have been satisfied with the level of configurability we have been able to achieve.
As I spent over 7 years using SuccessFactors I was a bit biased when beginning with Cornerstone. Now with a few years of woking with Cornerstone I have come to appreciate the system and how it can be used the most efficiently for the business.
In meeting with different LMS vendors Cornerstone continues to meet the needs for the company for users as well as admins.
