Overall Satisfaction with D&B Finance Analytics

I use D&B as a prescreening for potential customers on a daily basis. Sometimes I find it hard due to multiple finds on the request to distinguish the correct customer I am looking for. However, it sometimes comes in handy to see if the customer is operating under multiple identities.
  • Reports bankruptcies.
  • Reports adp's
  • Gives good advice on credit limit suggestions.
  • getting the correct legal name and titles of the president/cfo's.
  • The search engine seems to get confused if you put all available information in the address, phone number and etc., on advanced search. This usually produces no usable customer information or makes it unable to find the customer you are looking for.
  • have more information for outlying countries such as mexico and canada.
  • Improve cash flow by sorting out the credit worthy customers.
The analytics of bankruptcies, app, and credit line suggestions weigh heavily on how we proceed with a potential customer.
My answer would be the same as the last question.
They work hand in hand in our process. question will not allow me to go past this point because I entered our insurance company Coface,

D&B is well suited when deciding if a potential customer is credit-worthy. D&bB. It is less well suited in foreign countries.

Using D&B Finance Analytics

5 - the CFO, finance supervisor, ar lead, controller actually see the reports and determine credit line and worthiness. Salesmen are given a synopsis to know whether or not to pursue an account.
4 - The credit history and suggested credit lines are used to determine what credit line if any that we extend to a new customer.

  • to find related/subsidiary businesses
we have had D&B for a long time, i do not see us changing
