Overall Satisfaction with D&B Finance Analytics

I use this to : 1) manage public information about our company; 2) make credit decisions about potential new clients; & 3) verify that new suppliers are going concerns.

Pros

  • Provide detailed information on nearly every business

Cons

  • Where information is not available elsewhere, ask the companies to provide it themselves
  • We are able to keep out in front of credit decisions
  • We are able to keep out information clean
  • We are able to avoid "problem children" in our supplier base
Our support person is very good, but the self-service portal is a piece of crap.

Usually provides decent information on new clients who are generally large enough to have public information that is relatively complete. Smaller/newer suppliers are hit and miss.
