Overall Satisfaction with D&B Finance Analytics
We use D&B Finance Analytics to review a potential customer's financial situation so we can make an informed decision when offering credit.
- Gives a good amount of financial data
- Dashboard is convenient
- Searching capabilities could use some help - it's sometimes very difficult to search for companies even when given all pertinent information about that company (i.e. using the advanced search option)
- It's kind of a pain to log in to the main menu, then click the FA option when I used to have a shortcut directly to the FA features.
- It has saved us from making risky credit decisions
- The dashboard with the top 10 most risky companies helps us keep an eye on our customer's financial health and monitor the amount of open credit we offer them.
Unfortunately, I only pull the reports and send them to our CFO for review, so I'm not sure of exactly how these features impact our risk analysis performance, but we rarely offer credit without consulting the data provided by D&B.
We do like that all this information is available in one place, but the search feature is not the best/easiest to use. Even with the advanced search function, we have issues finding the reports we need - which actually reduces the efficiency. However, once we find what we are looking for, we are able to use that data to pass on more risky business ventures.
