Dayforce Payroll Manager.
Overall Satisfaction with Dayforce
We use Dayforce in two countries: recruiting, WFM, and payroll. The releases that come out twice a year keep improving our Dayforce software. We are running payrolls in two different cycles, and I can give payroll information to Finance anytime. The Dayforce Wallet feature has genuinely changed our WFM practice. Our employees ensure all punches are completed because they want to use the Dayforce Wallet feature. I truly enjoy having all the information in one system, from your employee database to year-end information.
Pros
- Payroll - it shows everything in real time and it runs quickly.
- People - Having all employee details from the offer letter to W2 information in the same spot.
- Dayforce Wallet: The on-demand feature is fully integrated with Timesheets and Payroll. What shows in one will be in the other.
Cons
- Auditing in Garnishments, having no audit on this screen, is terrible. You could delete something by mistake and not know about it.
- Reporting - we need more fields for Dayforce Wallet/on-demand to ensure we can run our KPIs.
- Retro corrections for Payroll elections. When someone backdates a Medical deduction, Dayforce should take the date and apply any necessary retro calculations.
- Costs are higher than ADP.
- Positive - All in one system.
I have found the process to be more straightforward. When you have data flowing back and forth, you can update once and not worry about it. In the past, we had a file feed from time and attendance to payroll. The biggest problem was that when you missed that feed, you had to fix it twice—once for time and attendance and then again for Payroll.
