Overall Satisfaction with Dayforce
We use Ceridian Dayforce for payroll, benefits, recruiting, time & attendance, performance, employee self-service, and more. We use it for all of our employees. Ceridian Dayforce makes it easy to run our processes without worrying about loss of data and maintains our database. We have found having this system in place has made it much easier to streamline our every day processes.
Pros
- Easy to run payroll for the entire company
- Recruitment easily syncs to Indeed making it easy for us to extend our reach
- Benefits are easy to capture and view for our individual employees
Cons
- In payroll, there are sometimes issues with calculating pay when people’s rates change mid-pay period
- Would love to see an option to assist with building SQL or XML statements in the future (maybe co-pilot AI?)
- Would love an easy way to store pre-hire documents with candidates that syncs over to their HR profile when hired
- Dayforce allows us the ability to easily integrate time & attendance directly into payroll, which significantly improved the workload of the entire company. We no longer had two different software platforms to track time and process payroll.
We have not had any worries about state & federal withholding as well as year-end statements with Dayforce. The process of completing year-end materials is very easy through Dayforce's system. Additionally, Dayforce makes EEO reporting SO easy, which I appreciate. It takes all the manual labor out of needing to complete it and generates a file we can upload directly into the EEO website for completion.
It has streamlined our processes exponentially, and every day I learn something new about what Dayforce can do to improve efficiencies across our organization. We recently implemented our Attendance Management module within Dayforce, and this has been instrumental in giving us the ability to track attendance for all staff across the organization rather than having to view each employee's attendance individually.
I can't speak much to how it would be if we had all of these features separately since I started with Dayforce all being integrated and have no other experience, but having it all in one place has made the completion of all of these HR tasks seamless. We can direct all of our energies into the same system, and it makes it easier to field employee inquiries and to troubleshoot when we need to.
