Overall Satisfaction with Demandbase One

As an SDR, I use Demandbase One to find the best companies that might want to buy our software by looking at what companies are searching for us online. This helps us know who to talk to first and what to say to them. By understanding what these companies need, we can send them more targeted messages and connect with the right people. This way, we spend our time talking to companies that are more likely to become customers, which helps us sell more. Demandbase One makes sure we focus on the right businesses at the right time.

Pros

  • Identifying target accounts that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Monitoring intent data to understand the topics and solutions target accounts are actively researching.
  • Leveraging insights to personalize outreach emails, calls, and LinkedIn messages, referencing specific intent signals, content engagement, or company news.

Cons

  • Being able to hone in more on who at the company may be looking into our company.
  • Engagement minutes, actually being time spent looking at resources rather than an abstract number of value.

Demandbase has good data to give sales reps. The UI is a poor experience. So much data gets lost due to poor interactions and the user actually being able to get to see the intent data they want to see, so they know which account to target. If you improved the UI/UX demandbase would be a top tier tool.
Demandbase One has allowed me to use intent data to target specific accounts for specific SKUs at work. This allows me to see which accounts have buying intent around specific SKUs which allows me to target messaging appropriately per account rather than just seeing high buying intent in general and not knowing what product would be more relevant.
The UX and UI are poor experiences. It took a lot of training and trial and error to even begin to understand a click path through the platform to retrieve the relevant intent data. The usability is the weakest part of the platform and continues to need the most improvement.

This helps me focus my efforts on the businesses that show real interest, rather than reaching out to just anyone. The tool also gives me valuable insights into what these companies care about, so I can tailor my conversations to their specific needs and challenges. This means I can have more meaningful discussions with the right people at the right companies, ultimately increasing the chances of them becoming happy customers of my company. Demandbase One is essential for making my outreach smarter and more effective.
