If inter office communication is key, then Dialpad Connect is for you!!
Overall Satisfaction with Dialpad Connect
We use Dialpad Connect for our internal team communications. I love that you can personalize it. I love the video calls. It is nice to see the people you are talking to. It is also nice to be able to go on DND when there are projects to work on or to get caught up on whatever may be needed.
Pros
- Love that you can create different channels
- Love that you can choose your hold music
- Love that it allows you to see when someone is on the phone or in a meeting
- Allows DND
Cons
- I'd like it if calls did not come through when you are on a call. It only stops them if you are on DND
- I'd like the software to be stable enough that when you are on a video call or meeting and you need to look something up, if it did not make the video lag
- Video calls, in particular, seem to freeze for a moment, quite often
- This is a question for our Controller. I don't really have 'numbers' for the business
- Dialpad Connect has allowed us to begin texting our employees....great feature!! Especially while working out in the field.
- I love that Dialpad Connect saves the history of a conversation as well, which is very beneficial
RingCentral crashed on nearly every single video or call. I have not experienced that with Dialpad Connect. I would constantly have to restart RingCentral and I have rarely had to do that with Dialpad Connect. Video quality with Dialpad Connect is tons better than RingCentral. RingCentral did not offer to create individual channels like Dialpad Connect does.
