Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Dialpad Ai Voice for our internal team communications. I love that you can personalize it. I love the video calls. It is nice to see the people you are talking to. It is also nice to be able to go on DND when there are projects to work on or to get caught up on whatever may be needed.

Pros and Cons

Love that you can create different channels
Love that you can choose your hold music
Love that it allows you to see when someone is on the phone or in a meeting
Allows DND

I'd like it if calls did not come through when you are on a call. It only stops them if you are on DND
I'd like the software to be stable enough that when you are on a video call or meeting and you need to look something up, if it did not make the video lag
Video calls, in particular, seem to freeze for a moment, quite often

Return on Investment

This is a question for our Controller. I don't really have 'numbers' for the business
Dialpad Ai Voice has allowed us to begin texting our employees....great feature!! Especially while working out in the field.
I love that Dialpad Ai Voice saves the history of a conversation as well, which is very beneficial

Alternatives Considered

RingCentral Meetings

RingCentral crashed on nearly every single video or call. I have not experienced that with Dialpad Ai Voice. I would constantly have to restart RingCentral and I have rarely had to do that with Dialpad Ai Voice. Video quality with Dialpad Ai Voice is tons better than RingCentral RingCentral did not offer to create individual channels like Dialpad Ai Voice does

The inter office communication it allows, is amazing! The ability to create different channels for different departments for communications, is great!!! I don't understand the necessity between a video call and a Dialpad Ai Voice meeting and when it would or would not be appropriate to use one vs. the other. I would love it if you were able to have more than one person on a phone call
