Overall Satisfaction with Docebo Learning Platform

We use Docebo for both internal and external training. For internal, this focuses on skill (transferrable, non-transferrable, and soft) development as well as compliance training. For external, we provide training that is focused on our products and solutions. The fact that we are able to pick and choose what each learner type is able to see is a huge benefit.

Pros

  • Extended Enterprise (Ability to Segment Users)
  • Content Compatibility (Able to Accept Almost all/All Content Types in the Market)
  • Automation (Ability to Create Rulesets in the System for automated tasks)

Cons

  • Invoicing
  • Improve External Records
  • Improve Learner Filtering (Learners filtering their own data instead of being admin reliant)
  • Create Dashboards (It would have been better if they built something similar to Tableau or Power BI into their internal dashboard creation portion)
  • Shortened Lead Time for New Hires (9 months to 6 months)
  • Increased Group Compliance (Essential for Investors and New Customers)
  • Centralized All L&D Efforts (Cost and Resource Sharing Across Whole Company - Reduction of Double Work)
The system fits a lot of use cases. While Docebo will not customize based on one customer's request, it uses its community forums to gauge which features are needed on the system sooner rather than later. Additionally, the company has been investing in AI pre-pandemic. Lastly, Docebo has made it simple and easy for people to modify the system through easy to access HTML and CSS areas for visuals and open APIs for data syncing/system-to-system connections.
Docebo had a better account manager at the time who actively explained and answered all our questions even before we signed any contracts. The other system providers would only do the same once we've signed. Additionally, in terms of capabilities, it was clear that Docebo was able to hit all our use cases whereas the others would find it challenging/needlessly expensive to do so. Others would bloat the cost/double the cost for an internal-external setup. That, or they would not be able to data share across the internal-external setup. Additionally, Docebo was actively investing in AI/machine learning back in 2020, so we were able to see some parts of how it worked on their system, even before we became a paying customer.

Do you think Docebo Learning Platform delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Docebo Learning Platform's feature set?

Yes

Did Docebo Learning Platform live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Docebo Learning Platform go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Docebo Learning Platform again?

Yes

Docebo fits both internal and external learning management. It is able to mold itself based on varied use cases. Whether you're HR focused on centralizing all training or marketing focused on reseller/business partner training, the system is able to handle that type of workload. However, as flexible as the system is, there are parts of it that require workarounds (such as its internal reporting system). The data, in itself, is clean, however, the pre-built dashboards are not as good as Power BI or Tableau.
