Overall Satisfaction with DocuSign CLM, formerly SpringCM
My company uses DocuSign CLM for the review and signature of controlled documents, specifically those part of the Design History File for Medical Devices, used for submission to Notified Bodies. In a remote world, DocuSign CLM makes it really easy to send out documents for review and signature to various team members. The platform makes it very easy to view who has signed and who to remind about the document, and present deadlines to the signees.
- Assigning signatories.
- Reminding users to sign.
- Placing specific action items within a document (ie. name, date, location).
- It is not completely clear how to remind just those who have not signed off on the document, not the whole party.
- Color-coding reviewers.
- Placing attributes for reviewers throughout the document.
- Ease of sending to reviewers.
- DocuSign CLM has solved the issue of remote workers signature on controlled documents.
Adobe Acrobat Sign was a more confusing process compared to DocuSign CLM. Acrobat presented signature abilities, yet sometimes this was electronic and sometimes this was done manually. Additionally, it is difficult to send and track the document when it goes to more than one signatory.
