Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

Dropbox has been fantastic for us. We do a lot of collaborative research work with universities and Dropbox allows us to efficiently share information with undergraduate and graduate students. It has been a much better solution than having a network server and has allowed us to accomplish all of our work without needing any network hardware.

Pros

  • Filing Sharing
  • Allows Us to Email Files without Using Space on Actual Emails
  • Allows Students to Share Their Results and Facilitate Multiple People using spreadsheets and files.

Cons

  • Active file sharing
  • open edits of the same file by multiple users simultaneously
  • Allow external users greater file size access when sharing files that reside in our network without students having to pay for their own membership
  • Incredibly Efficient and Cost Effective

Great for file sharing and collaboration. A better interface that would allow multiple users to work on a file at the same time would be great.
