Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
My company has to manage and edit hundred of high-resolution image files along with other artwork files. We all need quick immediate access, and it needs to be always up-to-date. We started using Dropbox during the pandemic while we worked from home, and now that have evolved to a hybrid schedule, we continue to use Dropbox for it's ease of use.
- Ability to preview image files on mac os
- Easily see that files are up to date
- Only sync the files I need
- Every time I log in to Dropbox from the web browser it sends me an e-mail notification about possible suspicious activity. It never remembers the computers I frequently access it from.
- I had to switch my Dropbox location to a removable hard drive (which I know they don't recommend), and that took ages to transfer the files over
- It is on the pricey side
- Dropbox allowed us to continue work during the pandemic.
- Dropbox did what our IT department couldn't deliver. A reliable easy-to-use file management system.
- Saved us time uploading and downloading files
We hoped to be able to use Microsoft OneDrive since we already subscribe to many of the Microsoft software options. But OneDrive did not perform how we wanted it to. We like having just one big shared chunk of data that we can all share and access. No need to manage permissions or invite other users to "share".
