Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
Passing files from myself to my clients. I need to send large batches of image and video files, sometimes large files sizes. This is a quick way to easily upload those files organized into folders and send a quick download link for the client.
Pros
- Allows for folders to organize files
- Allows large files
- Allows for viewing files in different formats- list by name, or by date added or date modified. Helps for searching.
Cons
- The home page is clunky and I don’t need you to “recommend” or suggest folders or images. Way too cluttered
- Hard to find folders sometimes when you have random folders pop up on top of the screen.
- Images don’t enlarge quickly and easily- double clicking brings up other screens and menus. Need a quick and simpler way to enlarge a file to see the image.
- I have a neutral way of sending files in secure ways- receiver doesn’t need a google account or even an email (I’m pretty sure). They can just click the link and download.
- I can choose contractors to edit files in the folders or I can choose links for the clients who only have viewing access, but it’s all in the same folder which is great.
- Keeps clients happy with quick sharing.
