Overall Satisfaction with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud

Primary source of backups in our environment for VSphere environment and other critical systems. This is critical for our DR plan.

We are also using this to backup our O365 environment (Email, Groups, OneDrive and SharePoint). This is a redundant backup to another system we use as this scenario per our cyber insurance.

Pros

Cons

  • Different portal to login for InSync/Phoenix and Cloud Ranger
  • Should be a way to send an email to support rather than needing to go to the support portal and creating a ticket there.
  • Some of the alerting options aren't too intuitive to setup and needed some explanation from our SE
  • Simple to use, saves time - not chasing errors constantly like other systems
  • Saves money by projecting against ransomware
Very easy to scale up/buy more credits when needed.
There is no onsite appliance which you need to purchase and house onsite. Everything is in the cloud which is less strain on resources in our MDF.

Druva was also very easy to use/deploy/configure.

Was able to easy configure and get this working on our endpoints, O365 and vSphere environment. We did have an issue with our vSphere environment where we were able to restore servers from backup which saved us a lot of headache. Very intuitive to restore.

It is nice to also have a backup of our O365 environment in the event something needed to be restored.
