Overall Satisfaction with Druva inSync

We use Druva inSync to backup SharePoint, OneDrive, and exchange online along with executive laptops. This addresses the archiving issues with Office 365 along with cloud app backup.

Pros

  • It is very easy to use from both an administration and end-user standpoint.
  • Very easy to set-up backups and restore data.

Cons

  • Web console for self data restoration.
  • User name changes in AD can cause a headache when applying the device backups.
  • We have 100% certainty our data is safe.
  • It works out to be cheaper in the long run than other products we have looked into.
  • The calls to support have been reduced.
Druva is way above both Veeam and Carbonite. Both competitors throttle the uploads and they were not user-friendly
We had Druva support assist with the implementation and it was very smooth and fast. The support is amazing, to this day the engineer still reaches out to check on how we are doing.

For backing up desktops/laptops this product is great. You can create the profile, deploy to endpoints and it just works. Setting up archiving for exchange online takes minutes, and once the AD connector is set up, it works great.
