Overall Satisfaction with Druva inSync

Druva has been in use in our org to support our frequent traveler base and laptop users who deemed they needed local client backup, along with our litigation hold needs for the company.
  • Reliable.
  • Lightweight.
  • Continued support and option for on-prem implementation.
  • Very positive feedback for our overall lithold needs.
  • Dependable service for client data protection.
  • No negatives.
Most of our focus is around PST file protection as we're a bit behind in our O365 adventure, so Exchange is one of our primary focus areas.
We don't really use Druva for this purpose but may do so in the future.
Druva is essential in our LegalHold (Litigation Hold) process overall. Any individual tied to any lithold needs is automatically added to our Druva cloud backup solution. Druva has served us well in governance of all lithold needs.
It was all about cost and ease of mgmt in choosing Druva over Code42. Druva does have a greater feature set but we don't necessarily take advantage of all the capabilities.
Several years ago, our original implementation was in the cloud. Due to cloud costs we felt we could manage the service more efficiently with an onprem implementation. The transition was painful. Now onprem is going away so we're migrating back to the cloud solution. The outline of how we get there looks to be just as painful.
