Overall Satisfaction with Druva inSync

We use Druva to perform our systems and data backups on an enterprise level. Druva being one solution replaced the multiple types of backups that we had to maintain in the years prior.

Pros

  • Druva is easily configurable and deployable on an enterprise level.
  • Druva service and support are knowledgeable and quick to respond.
  • Druva provides a comprehensive dashboard that allows managers to get a quick overview of the enterprise backups.

Cons

  • We ran into some complications running on legacy systems (pre-2008) but worked with Druva support to find a workaround.
  • We've been able to retire the media based backup platforms which resulted in cost savings not having to purchase the media. Also from an office standpoint, no more space needed to retain additional tapes.
  • Veeam Backup & Replication
Druva was the one backup solution that did not required us to purchase and maintain costly on-premises equipment. This reason alone was a deciding factor for Druva, however we were blown away with the support and the ease of use of the product.
Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft Teams, Fuze
For our environment, having multiple offices, multiple domains, we were able to quickly get Druva configured and enabled. Within two weeks we had complete backups of our systems and data and were able to retire the multiple media-based backups that we had been using prior.

Druva inSync Support

We haven't required much in the way of support from Druva after our implementation, however the few times we have had to contact them they have been fantastic. They've quickly offered solutions to our issues and followed up that they were working properly.

Using Druva inSync

We were quickly and easily available to migrate our backup jobs from multiple on-premises products to Druva with no downtime. Our technicians were able to become acclimated to the Druva environment quickly and requiring little training. Overall it was a very quick and seamless process.
