Overall Satisfaction with Druva Security Cloud

We used Druva as our primary backup solution for our endpoints. The service we used prior was sold to another company, and we were told it was no longer going to be supported. We needed to find a replacement solution that we could implement quickly, and Druva was that solution.

Pros

  • Easy deployment
  • Great Technical support
  • Backups restore very quickly

Cons

  • Mobile device backups
  • The silent install and auto start of the backup doesn't work consistently
  • Druva has us saved money and allowed us to capture more endpoint backups.
  • Our department is saving time by allowing our end-users to manage their own backups.
  • The product is extremely easy to deploy and manage.
In the past we have only been able to back up key employees in the company based on title. Which turned out to be 20-30 people. The solution we used in the past very expensive. Now with Druva we are capturing back ups for 3x more employees for a fraction of the cost.
Druva is more cost effective for our environment then crash plan. We are also able to get more of our Junior technicians in the space to help support our staff with backups. crash plan was also difficult to implement and required almost around the clock maintenances and changes in our environment.

I feel that Druva is best in our environment for allowing our end users to manage and restore their own data instead of having to submit IT tickets every time they need support. Having a small IT team, we like to empower our users to support themselves when it is not a security risk, and Druva allows us to do this.
