Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace
After dealing with many of the big vendors on the market that have failed to innovate for many years, we set out on a quest to select the next generation monitoring tool for our company. When it was decided that we wanted to focus on AI and decided to kick the tires on Dynatrace, the choice became obvious. We needed to do more with less and the AI allowed us to start focusing on root causes and potential problems proactively rather than being reactive. We also found that we have been able to deploy our Dynatrace footprint within our environment faster than with any other vendor before them providing an ease of use and administrator.
- The OneAgent - Select an OS and that's it! Dynatrace does the rest.
- AI - The Dynatrace AI is not just AI hype. It has actually proven itself over and over again within our company.
- There is a need for better controls over how the licensing pool is divided up within a company.
- Better reporting on who is using what in terms of the licensing pool.
- Allows us to shift from reactive to proactive.
- Getting to root cause right from the start.
There is really no comparison. While AppDynamics is not bad, the Dynatrace technology runs circles around them. When they pitch their product to us, they spent more time trying to downplay Dynatrace then they did shining a light on their own product. The way forward was clear.
