Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace

Dynatrace is used to monitor tier 1 applications for availability, and performance and to help provide root cause analysis in the event of a system issue. We have internal applications, external applications (hosted on cloud), and middleware all instrumented.

Pros

  • Application availability and performance.
  • Failure alerts.

Cons

  • Sometimes the UI can be a bit inconsistent.
  • Helped tracked down root cause on outages.
Dynatrace is a market leader in the APM space, its production is a leader and innovator.
