Pros
- It has an amazing feature of collaborating data security, compliance, and threat detection for businesses.
- It has all the amazing features which makes out great platform across the niche.
- It offers great security while sharing information and sharing links, it gives link expiration while sharing the information.
- That link expires after some time and needs a password to access it again which makes me share my files anywhere without the fear of attacking or losing information.
Cons
- The main drawback that I am facing while using the Egnyte that [in my experience] it becomes slow while dealing with large files.
- Secondly, it does not have the feature of changing the parent of the folder which sometimes becomes a trouble to assess without the person.
- The system gets slow a lot and it takes hours to upload large files onto the cloud [in my experience] which is the biggest drawback.
- It has smart file sharing feature which is above all.
- I love its web interface.
- It has best device management capabilities.
- Dragging option is great, I can easily drag folders or files easily from desktop to the platform by just dragging them onto the platform.
- I can access my files or information from anywhere by just connecting to the platform as it is totally cloud-based platform that can be accessed easily.
- Desktop app is fast and reliable also the interface is very user friendly to use.
- Users can download heavy files easily from the system without any lag or system bogging down.
I have also tried Azure Backup but Egnyte has more smart features than this. As I am using their
platform for some time so when I get stuck anywhere I just contact their
representatives and they respond on time. Listen to queries very carefully.
