Overall Satisfaction with Epicor ERP

It is used across all departments. We use it for all aspects of our operations except payroll (sales, inventory, accounting, manufacturing, planning, purchasing, shipping, and receiving.)
  • Ability to create custom reports
  • Ability to tailor the software to current business practices
  • User friendly
  • Planning module is not intuitive
  • Engineering workbench is cumbersome when doing repetitive entries. Should have ability to copy and paste entries on a mass scale.
  • Whenever there is an upgrade there should be more detail on the changes.

  • Now that everyone is on the same system to run the company, everyone has the same information in real time
  • Makes decision making easier
  • The fact that it is cloud based means no internal IT support is needed
Because of its flexibility. Availability to customize screens and data to mimic current operations. We did not have to change any business processes to use Epicor. All functions were able to be tailored to our business processes, including business reports and forms.
Excellent customer support. They respond very quickly through email. If an issue cannot be resolved, then they will set up a WebEx session to walk you through the issue and find a resolution.
We chose Epicor because of its flexibility and ability to customize on the fly. We evaluated 3 other vendors, but none of them offered the flexibility that Epicor has.
Well suited for materials planning.Customer contact module too complicated. The engineering module could be more user friendly when creating large routings.
