Overall Satisfaction with EveryAction
We use EveryAction across our whole organization for advocacy, email, and development (from individual giving to tracking grants and corporate donations). We were primarily interested in it for our ability to help constituents take advocacy actions--sign petitions, write letters to their lawmakers, etc. The whole organization uses EveryAction, but it is primarily our communications and development departments that lead use.
Pros
- Advocacy actions (writing letters to members of Congress)
- Fairly good customer service
Cons
- Account management has been very poor
- It is expensive in comparison to other tools, and pricing is opaque
- Email tools are weaker than competitors; deliverability is poor
- Able to track constituents across their advocacy actions, email opens, and donations. A whole system approach.
- Fundraising has a decent ROI but again, email deliverability is a problem that affects that.
The ability to let individuals take advocacy actions, including petitions, letter writing, and social media, has been very helpful. Fundraising is pretty standard. Email is the weakest part of the system.
