Overall Satisfaction with Expensify

We use Expensify for, tracking, submitting, and approving expenses. The automation features and smart suggestions are fantastic time savers. The automatic date recognition can be a bit wonky when submitting weirdly-formatted receipts but it still saves more time and effort than not. I enjoy the degree of control and transparency Expensify comes with while retaining its no-stress usability to make expense management and tracking a breeze. Would never go back to my previous systems after using this.

Pros

  • Its intuitive interface makes tracking, submitting, and approving expenses effortless.
  • Expensify’s mobile app enhances convenience by allowing users to capture and submit expenses on the go.

Cons

  • The OCR functionality can be a bit wonky for recognizing dates
  • The software could use a better internal understanding of what to look for on submitted images for single-expense receipts versus multiple-expense receipts
  • Submitting and following up on expenses used to be a process that took several hours a month for me, Expensify has brought that down to several minutes to do my part and be done.
With all of the other details I've given, it's pretty obvious I enjoy using Expensify, I find it easy to use, I find it thoroughly functional toward my needs, and I find it to provide an excellent value ratio. I like the app and look forward to continuing to use it.

If you have users who need to submit and track expenses for reimbursement, and users who need to track and approve or follow-up on reimbursement requests, Expensify is going to take a lot of stress out of that process for everyone by making it quick to learn and easy to to.
