Overall Satisfaction with F5 BIG-IP

We use it as a load balancer and WAF for aplications and APIs.

Pros

  • Load Balancer
  • Security API

Cons

  • SIEM integration. This function could be more easy to configure to avoid mistakes like logs duplicated
  • For security, the waf features are so important for us to protect the enviroment
  • It helps us to concentrate APIs and to turn secure our aplications
We select BIG-IP because it is so robust and F5 is a company that can support our business

It is appropriate to scenario with large bandwidth usage, because it is so stable and easy to configure.
