Overall Satisfaction with F5 BIG-IP

We use GTM, APM, ASM and LTM. We use the F5 BIG-IP for app deployment and security. The business problems we address are securing our applications.

Pros

  • Load balancing
  • DNS
  • Security

Cons

  • Not able to rename pools or virtual servers
  • Upgrade process on F5 BIG-IP can take some time
  • Central management
  • Positive - have improved patching and keeping applications up
  • Positive - able to secure applications
  • Positive - authentication to applications through APM has been great
The product works great and have not had issues.
