Overall Satisfaction with F5 BIG-IP

We need to load balances some critical applications and be PCI compliance . we also need high availability and throughput to permit a big amount of traffic between clients and applications , we have nearly 20 services exposes in the front application and 2 Datacenter in a high availability configuration. we test al traffic and the application performance and all was ok

  • High availability and DRP it’s better in scenarios where you have critical services
  • We used big IP also for improve DNS response time , so , we get better performance for our applications
Very simple menu for graphical configuration and clear and intuitive commands for configuration.
We also can improve the availability for applications without compromising our budget, we change our architecture from active- standby to active - active making better use of our hardware and speeding our applications , we can put many services in one box without compromising performance
Easy to configure , hardware based , no need to maintain or secure operating system and better performance.
Better performance and stability against Citrix.
With the virtualization feature you can have many virtual appliances for other environments like PoCs or Developments purposes.
There is a lot of documentation you can use to configure and troubleshoot
