Overall Satisfaction with Figma
Figma is used for UI purposes for voice control supported apps for the range of dehumidifiers and fans. It is used to show prototypes to external developers and allows them to work from the file to make alterations and customisations on the front end.
Pros
- Allows you to share the file amongst colleagues and clients. Collaboration is perfect.
- New plug-ins are regularly released to help and improve workflow.
- Transparency is perfect as it allows various people within a team to work on the file at the same time or even view it.
Cons
- I would like to see the prototyping made better and easier.
- I find it hard to optimise UI screens for different sizes. This could be made easier and more simplistic.
- It would be great if there was walk-through pointers on the Figma UI showing the user how to perform a specific task.
- Comments / feedback feature
- Collaboration and sharing file amongst other team members
- Plug-ins
- It’s helped to support launching a new range of dehumidifiers and fans. One of the key features being an iOS app allowing the user to control the device(s).
- It will help increase revenue as it’s a wanted feature on the new devices that will be launched in 2024.
Figma has regular updates and amazing plugins as well as a community where you can draw inspiration from and actually see working files.
The collaboration element to Figma is much better as well as the ability to use it within the browser or desktop app.
