Overall Satisfaction with Filevine

We use it to manage all our cases. This gives us a way to keep them organized and keep all relevant information in one area. It is especially great for managing the larger cases where we have thousands of clients.

Pros

  • Create detailed reports that are fully customizable
  • Create different project types for our different kinds of cases
  • Customize each project type for each type of case so they only have needed information
  • Being cloud-based storage for all case files

Cons

  • A lot of functionality comes from either add-ons or third party developers
  • Having training that fits our firm better
  • When entering information for projects within the same household, you always have to enter the same information multiple times
  • The reports we are able to create show us what data is missing from cases and which clients we need to reach out to for that information
  • I like how the activity feed stores all the case emails. It makes things easy if someone is missing work and another has to fill in.
I dock a few points because of the setup it requires. If someone in-house can handle that then the score goes up. It really depends on the firm and their personnel. Once it is setup though, I think anyone can get in and do what they need to do.

Do you think Filevine delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Filevine's feature set?

Yes

Did Filevine live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Filevine go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Filevine again?

Yes

Filevine works best if there are least a couple people in the office that know how to customize it. The best part about this system is that just about anything that needs to be tracked or saved for a case can be done.
