It used as our first layer of security and often used as a Site-to-site VPN connection in our AWS environment. It helps the business to secure live or on premise environment to the outside world or to the public while connecting to our cloud environment. We also able to filter and alter who will manage the appliance.

Sonic Wall is best suited when you want to use it to connect your cloud environment to your private on-premise network. But on reputation most vendors prefer or recommend Fortinet Fortigate if it will act as a firewall alone.
