Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In the past year, GiveSmart has been used twice: first to facilitate an online auction, art sale, and holiday gift sale; and second as a fundraising vehicle for our chemistry lab. In the past, it has been used to host a silent auction for our annual gala. Currently, I am the sole user of the platform, but it has been used by another administrator and volunteers of our gala within the Advancement office. It is an excellent platform to share with our community.

Pros and Cons

Pros

As a silent auction platform, it is easy to use.
Updating content and adding images is simple.
Generating sales reports and data analysis is as easy as clicking a button!

Cons

Updating the donation tab is not as simple as I had hoped.

Return on Investment

GiveSmart has helped us increase our fundraising revenue for our gala, annual fund and capital project.
GiveSmart has attracted new donors to our organization, beyond our known constituents.

Usability

Overall GiveSmart is easy to use, but even for those who are computer savvy there are elements that are not as easy to implement as they could be (i.e.; text to give, donation tab).

Support Rating

The GiveSmart team is extremely helpful, both by email and in person! I can't commend them enough.

Likelihood to Recommend

As a silent auction site and "instant" item sale site, it is excellent. I have not yet used GiveSmart for anything other than what it's best suited for. So I have been pleased. If a buyer does not have a credit card, payment is difficult.
