Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart
We use it for our virtual and hybrid fundraising events in our development department. We found it extremely helpful when our in-person events were canceled due to the pandemic.

- Easy auction close-out procedure with good donor management.
- Info collection in registration process was useful with donor follow-up.
The GiveSmart user interface is 100% more attractive and user-friendly.
It was easy to learn to build out the page for a non-technical person and gave our bidders a smooth experience, even our elderly bidders.
The support's been pretty good. There can be long wait times for in-platform chat support and the knowledge base isn't as built out as I'd like it to be. I'd love step-by-step instructions and best practices for building out an event, specifically a golf or tabled event that requires a little more structure.
I'd be very likely to recommend the platform to a colleague who is doing a virtual or hybrid fundraising event; not sure I'd recommend for a strictly in-person event as live functionality doesn't seem so useful.
