Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart

We use this platform for auction items and checking in with people attending our fundraising events. We also use it to collect donations and other ticketing sales. This addresses and solves the problem of having many platforms for each event. GiveSmart allows us to be a one-stop shop when hosting fundraising events, silent auctions, and collecting donations.

Pros

Cons

  • Ease of use on the website.
  • Allowing us to delete those people who have unpaid sales.
  • Allowing us to merge users if they are duplicated.
  • Improved donor insights.
  • Tracking of different types of ticket sales.
  • Improved internal efficiency.
All of these websites suit our organizations for their reasons. They are also used simultaneously to collect data. With GiveSmart, I need one website to do what all these do individually. It causes errors on my end and forces me to look in many places for the same information.
The website can use a little bit of a re-vamp. It can get confusing and overwhelming at times, especially when running reports.
I've had a few questions that needed immediate answers. The chatbot was used, and I had someone working with me almost immediately, which allowed us to solve our issues quickly without notice.

I think GiveSmart is a great place to raise money in multiple ways. They have a large bandwidth to hold many campaigns, events, and other fundraising ideas. I would not suggest using GiveSmart if you are only looking to raise money or collect donations. This platform might be too complex and not as user-friendly for such a simple use case.
