Overall Satisfaction with GlobalMeet Collaboration

GlobalMeet is being used in our company since we are located across the United States. This product allows us to meet on a regular basis, share screens to do trainings and provides recordings of the meetings for those who could not attend. GlobalMeet is used to update staff as well as train staff on new processes and procedures thru screen sharing.

Pros

  • GlobalMeet is a great way for sharing screens when you are not able to meet in person.
  • GlobalMeet has a chat system so that questions can be answered while you are in the meeting.

Cons

  • When lots of people are on GlobalMeet is tends to disconnect or people have a hard time getting on.
  • Sometimes when you are not on a hardwire internet source, the participant has a hard time connecting.
  • There is an increased employee efficiency with the employees able to get trainings online instead of heading to corporate for a training.
Everytime that I have had to use the support services they have been very helpful.
Skype for Business just allows us to share screens and chat. There isn't a recording to see what happened throughout the meeting and isn't as thorough as GlobalMeet in its capabilities.
Global Meet is very well suited for a company that works remotely and can not gather for meetings and trainings.

Configuring GlobalMeet Collaboration

I think that Global Meet is just right for this type of program. Every avenue is easy to use with setting up meetings and sharing screens as well as webinars.
Just making sure that you are hardwired into GlobalMeet if you are conferencing from the computer.
Some - we have done small customizations to the interface - Yes we have it customized some so that it easy to access for our work. It was super easy to change things around.
No - we have not done any custom code
There is nothing more on the customization that I have at this time.

We were having an issue with connectivity when the whole company was on during a meeting. They were able to help use resolve this issue in a timely manner and we were back up and running in our meeting in no time.

Yes - I have not used this feature yet but I am looking forward to using it in the near future.
GlobalMeet is very useful and easy to navigate through. I am looking forward to using the mobile app.

GlobalMeet Collaboration Reliability

This product seems to be able to handle the growing amount of work within our company without any problems.
We have never had an issue with the availability of GlobalMeet. It has always been available when we needed it.
For the most part GlobalMeet loaded everything quickly. The only problem that we had was when the whole company was on a training at one time, we had a hard time with screen sharing and the pages loading in a timely manner. Everything seemed to slow down when lots of people were on the system at once.
