Overall Satisfaction with GoodData

We use GoodData to develop custom dashboards personalized to each customer. We develop dashboards om GoodData platform and GoodData.UI. We also set upp our own custom visuals and create smart narratives that give insights on the visuals and data in human readable form which can be plugged into any dashboard.
It addresses the customization aspect and the availability to public. It also helps make dashboards more personalized and offers more control to the developers.

It gives the control of dashboard development and deployment to the developer, allowing for customizable visuals. At the same time, it also allows non-developers to use the drag and drop version of BI tools. It allows you to create dashboards without having to deal with the analytical engine in the backend.
It took a while to go through the documentation. Setting it up using GoodData Platform was easy but setting up GoodData UI and GoodData CN was a little more challenging as we had to understand the type of functions offered by the library and how it can be integrated with GoodData Platform
I had a good experience with GoodData especially in understanding a completely new form of BI called Headless BI. Being a Machine Learning Engineer, the customization ability of GoodData UI allowed us to incorporate Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence into dashboards to provide better insights to our customers and clients.

Very well suited when you want to use the GoodData Data Model for your data but want to create your own set of visuals using customized UI. Also well suited if you don't want to be restricted by the limitations of other BI tools like PowerBI and Tableau and if you want to deploy the dashboards to a website in your own domain.
