Overall Satisfaction with Google BigQuery

Google BigQuery in combination with Power BI allows me to link together many data sources and get seamless reporting information from them. Other departments may use this for many other things, but my focus is reporting. As my company has purchased many other smaller companies Google BigQuery had played a crucial role in analysizing and combining the data sets.

  • Provide integrated reports
  • Share out useable dashbaord information to Sheets

Cons

  • more intuitive controls
  • easier ways of linking
  • better wyas to handle duplications

Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), DBeaver
A smaller company with only 1 main database would not really need the functions I use Google BigQuery for. This is mainly helpful to me when I have very large data sets across multiple platforms i need to integrate. It is also necessary if a company dos not use Microsoft Office products, as google products need to connect for larger data sets.
