Overall Satisfaction with Google Chat

Since we don't use other instant messaging platforms like Slack or Teams, Google Chat is a streamlined route to communicating across the team and ensuring that messages are both saved and secure.

Pros

  • Ease of use
  • Task coordination across multiple teams
  • Fluid across multiple locations

Cons

  • Limited project management capabilities
  • Ease of connecting across locations
  • Shared messages while also on video call
Very easy to use and required almost no learning curve. Only a 9 because it doesn't have advanced project management.

We have two locations, so it's wonderful to be able to instant message across them. It wouldn't be as important in a small business where all employees are in the same room.
