Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used Google Data Studio to create monthly reports for our clients. Since it's directly within Google, there aren't any issues with reliable data connections. It was a solution to creating monthly analytics reports that we could easily export for our clients.

Reliable connection to Google Analytics.
Various ways to display data.
Options for custom reports.

Takes a long time to set up.
Not user friendly.
Not enough template reports that are helpful.

Wasted a lot of time on creating reports that didn't look good.

We originally selected Google Data Studio since it didn't have a cost but have since switched to using DashThis.

I would not usually recommend Google Data Studio. There are a lot more user friendly options out there. But if they just want to create a quick dashboard type view for a few data points, Google Data Studio wouldn't be a bad option.
